Tanacetum - Tansy is a genus comprising about 160 species of asteraceae. They occur in the Mediterranean region in central and eastern Asia in parts of North America. Usually it is a perennial herb, but a few are annual herbs or semi-shrubs. One of the interpretations of the Czech name has its origin in popular superstitions, which were attributed to witch power. According to them, it helps to return happily from home, to cure infidelity and to return to a loved one. It grows to a height of 1.5 meters, has small disc-shaped flattened golden-yellow robes arranged in a crested lath.
