When growing hydrangea in a pot, it is important to provide the plant with sufficient watering and a nutrient-rich soil mix. The soil should be moist, but not waterlogged, and contain plenty of humus. The plant should be fertilised regularly to ensure it has enough nutrients to flower.

Please specify the colour in the notes.
Hydrangeas flower in summer and autumn and come in a variety of colours including white, pink, purple and blue. The colour of the flowers depends on the pH of the soil in which the plant is growing. If the soil is acidic, the flowers will be blue and if the soil is alkaline, the flowers will be pink to red. If you want blue flowers you can add aluminium to the soil, if you want pink flowers you can add calcium to the soil.
Hydrangeas are relatively easy plants to maintain and only need a little care and attention. As long as you keep up with proper watering, fertilizing and placing the plant in a bright spot with plenty of shade, you can enjoy beautiful flowers and a healthy plant. There is no need to clean up and winterize for the winter. It will bloom repeatedly every year.
