Frequently Asked Questions About Roses by Number

How many roses should I give?

For small bouquets (up to 10 stems) an odd number is traditionally chosen (3, 5, 7 or 9). For birthdays and anniversaries an even number matching the age or the years together is perfectly fine. An even number is traditionally brought to a grave. More in the article Number of roses and their meaning.

What does the number of roses mean?

One rose means "you are the only one", three roses "I love you", twelve roses "be mine" and fifty roses love without limits. You will find the complete overview in the article Number of roses and their meaning.

How much does one rose cost?

Our roses cost from 79 CZK per stem depending on the variety and stem length, and you order most varieties from 5 stems. You will find the prices and quality differences in the article Which roses and how much they cost.

How long do roses last in a vase?

A quality Ecuadorian rose with a firm stem lasts 10 to 14 days with proper care. Trim the stems, put them in clean water and add cut-flower food, which we include free with every order.

Can I choose my own number and colour of roses?

Yes, you choose both the number and the colour yourself, and you order roses from 5 stems (Red Piano peony roses from 3 stems). As Monika says: whether you mix 5 or 55 roses, she guarantees that each has a firm stem (40–80 cm), a large bloom and the A1 standard.

How quickly do you deliver roses?

In Prague our Airway couriers deliver express within 90–120 minutes of the order, or you can choose a time window of 9–12, 12–17 or 17–20. We also deliver throughout the Czech Republic, and delivery is free for orders over 1,299 CZK.
