With more than 1200 species, Dendrobium is the second largest genus in the orchid kingdom. It is found from the East Indies eastwards in virtually all of Asia, Australia and the islands of the Pacific Ocean. It is the second most commonly cultivated genus after cattleyas. Used in floral arrangements for receptions, decorating dining tables and other interior decorations.
