Slanted cut: After unpacking, trim the stems with a sharp knife by about 2 cm at a 45-degree angle (this increases the surface area for water intake).
Clean water and nutrition: Use cool water and don't forget to add the special flower food, which you receive free with every order.
Watch out for fruit: Do not place the vase with freesias near ripening fruit (e.g., bananas or apples). Fruit releases ethylene, which significantly accelerates the wilting of flowers.
