Single-Stem Chrysanthemum – The Enduring Queen of Autumn with an Imperial Past
The single-stem chrysanthemum, often called “listopadka” here, belongs, just like the spray varieties, to the genus Chrysanthemum (daisy family, Asteraceae), but is grown differently: unlike the spray types, the side buds on these varieties are removed by hand so that all of the plant's energy goes into one single, monumental bloom.
