Tip from our florist Monika (Care Guide): "Guzmania is a child of the tropical rainforest and grows as an epiphyte. In nature, it drinks water and catches nutrients directly through its leaves. Therefore, do not just water the soil – pour water directly into the center of the leaf rosette (the 'cup')! It should always have a little water there (about 2 cm). But be careful – about once a month, empty the old water and replace it with fresh water so it doesn't stagnate."
