When to Order an Advent Wreath Before the First Advent
The first Sunday of Advent this year is 29 November 2026. For a ready-made wreath to reach you in time, order in Prague by Friday 27 November at the latest, and for other cities by Thursday 26 November. We add the wreaths to the range by 16 November at the latest.
You can order the wreath online in advance, or buy it directly at our shop in Prague 10 – Strašnice (Za Strašnickou vozovnou 2523/7, Mon–Fri 8:00–18:00) or on Saturday at the market at Kulaťák.

Door wreaths come without candles, on a straw base with dried fruit. According to Andrea, frost does not bother them outside and they last the whole winter.
DIY Guide: How to Tie a Wreath Yourself
If you are feeling creative, here is how to do it.
What You Will Need
- Base: a straw ring (available at a hobby shop).
- Greenery: Nobilis or Nordmann fir (they do not shed), or thuja or pine.
- Tools: garden shears, binding wire (green), glue gun.
- Decorations: 4 candles, candle holders, ribbons, cinnamon, dried oranges or cotton.
Step by Step
- Prepare the greenery: cut the sprigs to about 10–15 cm.
- Binding: place a bundle of sprigs on the ring and wrap it tightly with wire. Place the next bundle so that it covers the stems of the previous one (like scales). Continue around until the circle closes.
- Candles: push 4 holders symmetrically into the wreath and put the candles on them. Never leave burning candles unattended.
- Decorating: glue on the decorations with the glue gun. Sometimes less is more. You can also add Ilex with red berries.
