It's the perfect time to make your home cozier, decorate your tables, and hang a warm welcome on the door in the form of a rich autumn wreath. Your creativity and imagination are the only limits! For those of you who like to clear your head with a bit of hands-on making, here's a simple guide. Step 1: Go Hunting for Natural Materials
The best base material is what you gather yourself on an afternoon walk. Grab garden shears and a basket, and look for interesting shapes and textures.

What to gather: Colorful oak leaves, pine cones, moss, acorns, chestnuts, or interesting twigs with lichen.

What to add: For a professional look, supplement your finds with long-lasting elements from the florist's. Dried sea holly (Eryngium), orange safflower (Carthamus), red rose hips, or ornamental pumpkins all work beautifully.

Step 2: How to Make an Autumn Wreath
Making your own wreath isn't complicated, and you don't need any prior experience. Here's a simple process:

Base: Use a straw or styrofoam wreath form. A diameter of 20–25 cm (8–10 in) is ideal for a standard door (you can buy both the forms and floral supplies at our shop or a craft store).

Prep: Heat up a glue gun. If you don't have one, a classic floral wire works just as well.

Layering: Start with greenery and larger leaves to fully cover the base. Gradually add smaller twigs, pine cones and the fruits you've gathered.

Focal point: Place your main decorative elements (large blooms, a bow, or ornamental pumpkins) either asymmetrically to one side for a modern, "wild" look, or evenly around the whole wreath for classic symmetry.

Finishing touch: Hang the wreath on a burlap or wide satin ribbon in a color that matches your front door.
