Roses are among the most popular flowers, available in a wide variety of colors and types. Both cut roses and garden spray roses are highly cherished. We’ve prepared a few useful tips for arranging roses, whether they come from your own garden or a florist.

How to care for cut roses:

Choosing roses: In the garden, pick buds that are one-third to half open.
Cutting stems: Use clean, sharp scissors to avoid damaging the plant and spreading disease.
Leaves on stems: Leave at least 3 leaves on each stem – they not only add fullness to the bouquet but also help the roses last longer.
Quick transfer to water: Cut roses directly into a bucket of water or transfer them into a vase as quickly as possible.
Adding nourishment: Enrich the water with flower food, soda, lemon, or a spoonful of sugar to keep the roses fresh longer.
Temperature adjustment: Let roses rest for several hours in a cool place, away from direct sunlight, so they can adapt to indoor warmth gradually.

Bought roses and want to create a beautiful arrangement at home? Here are some quick tips:

Choosing color and type: Select according to your taste – for example, purple Memory Line, red Freedom, or deep red Red Naomi. White Dolomiti and White Naomi, or orange Marie Claire, are also very popular.
Trimming stems: At home, recut stems at an angle so they absorb water better. Add the free flower food you received with your purchase.
Let roses "breathe": After arranging, gently lift the bouquet a few centimeters above the water and place it back carefully – this gives roses space to settle.
Tying the bouquet: If you want to tie your bouquet, hold it upside down and wrap tightly with waterproof tape or raffia.
